Where do I find my License Code or Registration Number?

eRoom SMB Edition

The license code is a 24-digit alphanumeric code. If you purchased an electronic download and license code, you will receive an e-mail with the link to download the software, as well as the license key to use the product. If you have purchased a boxed product, your license code will be inside the package on a card labeled "License Code."

RepliStor SMB Edition

The license code is a 24 digit alphanumeric code, grouped into two sets separated by a dash: XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. A license code is required to activate EMC RepliStor SMB Edition. If you purchased an electronic download and license code, you will receive an e-mail with the link to download the software, as well as the license key for the product. If you have purchased a boxed product, your license code will be inside the package on a card labeled "License Code."

Retrospect

A License Code is a sixteen-digit sequence included with all Retrospect Products, versions 4.2 and later. License codes are used to install and register Retrospect products. They can be found in the License Manager, in the Retrospect Window menu. License codes for Retrospect Express HD can be found by right clicking the icon in your system tray and then clicking About Retrospect Express HD.

VisualSRM SMB Edition

After purchase the customer will receive a Temporary Authentication Code (TAC). Before the user can license the software they need to authenticate this code. To authenticate the license the user logs onto the EMC Insignia website:

Once logged into the website the user will need to enter their user name, and password (if they are an existing customer), or Register (if this is the first time they are accessing the license key generation system).

After logging in the user will be asked to input their TAC. After submitting the user will then be presented with their License Key.
